Our shoe technology
With over 40 years of expertise in both research and development behind us, we have done everything we can to make our safety shoes more comfortable. We have developed three unique technologies with the aim of providing even greater comfort.
What inspires us: The natural shape of the foot, with its arches. All of this shape is cleverly combined with the bones, joints, tendons and muscles of the foot.
Why? What causes the curvature and flexibility to change? By adapting the curvature to the ground conditions, it acts as a slip-resistant agent, which is essential for flexibility.
This symbol of action, the ability to adapt and move forward is represented by the circles of three of our unique technologies.
VPS* SYSTEM (SUSPENDED ARCH SUPPORT)
The anatomical shape of the shoe maintains the structure of the foot well, following the arch of the foot, and the internal support of the insole creates comfort, especially in the case of walking or standing for long periods without movement.
DRS (DELETE RESONANCE SYSTEM) / DRS 2
Our DRS technology is located in the heel and acts as a slip-resistant mechanism. DRS is a crescent-shaped channel under the heel that moves inward as the heel contacts the surface, allowing the foot to move forward in a smooth motion. You'll find the DRS 2 on our Racing Sport outsole.
VPS* SYSTEM (SUSPENDED ARCH SUPPORT)
Our PARADE AIR SYSTEM technology is also inspired by the organic shape and roundness of the foot's arch. The PARADE AIR SYSTEM is an air bubble encased in the outsole of the shoe. This technology provides flexibility as you move forward.
Shield 1: Our shield of scratch protection
Our exclusive SHIELD ONE material is a true abrasion shield. Breathable thanks to the Parade Shield design, it helps prevent abrasion. The fabric + TPU formula meets the abrasion resistance requirements set by the EN388 glove standard (performance level 4/4). This highly durable material is featured in our S1P shoes in the RACING: Ride and Racer range.
FLEX SYSTEM
Our FLEX SYSTEM technology is ideal for applications that require the most flexibility and strength. It is ideal for construction and uneven surfaces. The specially designed sole with deep grooves reduces the pressure area on the sole, providing flexibility and walking comfort. When the foot moves, the shoe moves with the foot and the deep horizontal grooves and pits under the bones of the forefoot allow the foot to naturally curve and when the foot moves forward the sandal material is released by the shoe. You can find our FLEX SYSTEM technology in all shoes with our NEBRASKA and NEVADA soles.
BE FLEX 2.0
BE FLEX 2.0 technology is designed for tasks that require flexibility and walking comfort, such as logistics work. The side of the sole is raised at the forefoot for easy flexibility. The front is specially designed with 3 transverse grooves for maximum movement and flexibility for the forefoot.
